Will callers know they’re talking to an assistant?
Yes. Heybird always says it’s an assistant when asked, and in Europe it says so in the greeting. You pick its name and voice.
Do I need a new number?
No. Forward your existing number when you’re busy, after hours or always, or decline a call and it goes to Heybird. A new local number comes with any paid plan.
What happens with a call it can’t handle?
Urgent calls ring you live. Everything else becomes a message with a summary and transcript, and Heybird tells you what it needs from you.
What counts as a call?
Answered calls only. Spam, robocalls, hang-ups under 10 seconds and your own test calls never count.
Which calendars does it book into?
Google Calendar and Outlook. Heybird checks your hours and existing bookings before it offers a time.
